Add a new disk to asm diskgroup

1.PURPOSE AND SCOPE

In this article i am going to explation how to add new disk to the diskgroup which used by database.Before starting i wanted to give some informations about our steps. In this practice we had got a disk named DISK4 and this isnt belong to single diskgroup.First of all i am going to check the stability of DISK4, if disk success i am going to create a different diskgroup and try to add it there.If this step also succeed we are going to add this disk to diskgroup which used by production diskgroup.

2.PRACTICE

2.1. Time to control stability of  DISK4 . (If you have got RAC env, you need to do this every single node)

Moving datafile local disk to ASM

1.PURPOSE AND SCOPE

In some cases   we accidentally  forget and create datafiles on local disk while using.In this article i am going to explain how to move datafile local disk to ASM.

2.PRACTICE

2.1. I use 2 node RAC system for this practice. And create 2 tablespace on node 1 local disk.

Datapump da ASM alanını kullanmak

ASM alanın üstünde expdp ve impdp programlarının kullanımı.

2.UYGULAMA

2.1. Klasik komutları kullanarak ASM alanı üstüne expdp veya impdp çalıştırdığımızda aşağıdaki hataları alırız.

ORA-39002: invalid operation
ORA-39070: Unable to open the log file.
ORA-29283: invalid file operation
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_FILE", line 536

Oracle AMDU

1.AMAÇ VE KAPSAM

DATA1 VE DATA2 olmak üzere 2 tane disk groupumuz var. Datafileların coğunlugu DATA1 üstünde bulunmakta, arcive log ,backup ve 1 tane datafileda DATA2 diskgroupun ustunde bulunmakta.

Senaryomuza göre DATA2 diskgroupunu mount edemiyoruz , backup ve archiveloglar o dizinde oldugundan dolayı recover yapamıyoruz ve tek datafile orda bulundugundan ötürü veritabanını açamıyoruz.AMDU yu kullanıp datafilelı dışarı alıp veritabanını açmayı deniyecez.

Asm Disk Üstüne Oracle Veritabanı Kurulumu

1.AMAÇ VE KAPSAM

Asm disk alanı olusturup, ustunde veritabanını olusturmak.

2.UYGULAMA

2.1. Asm kurulumu ve yönetimi için 3 tane rpm gerekiyor , bu rpmleri oracle’in sayfasindan temin edebilirsiniz.
